Darkly enticing and beautifully gripping romance told with great gusto and panache…

I can’t even… OhMyGiddyGoodyGoodGod. I have been waiting on my hands and knees, praying, for this book. Since Raphael and Sofia… Dishonorable, all I’ve wanted/ needed to do was eat Disgraced up like a tonne of Haagen Dazs Praline and Cream. I needed Damon and Lina’s story more than clean air to breathe. I fawned over and over it when it landed on my Kindle. I may have happy screamed so loud that my voice box may have seized up. It was so worth it. I would do it all over again because Disgraced proved to be every bit as incredible as I had hoped it would be. Natasha Knight outdid herself. Bra-freaking-vo!

So we first met Damon and Lina in Dishonorable, and from the moment they set eyes on one another it was obvious that there was going to be more— 0f them, from them… there just had to be more. Their chemistry was palpable. From the minute that I met Damon, something about him told me that there was A LOT more behind the holy exterior of the man. Yes, I was a little unsure about the whole Lina-Damon thing, just because of her age, but hey… timing is everything! Apart from that, I was ready to rock and roll from the beginning.

Plot wise, Disgraced is incredibly gripping and fulfilling. I say fulfilling because this book is a journey that takes you to places that you probably never knew existed. It’s every bit as taboo and twisted as it’s predecessor, and just as suspenseful too. However, it is also filled with beautiful and passionate moments that’ll have you crying and will leave you wetter than peak monsoon season. I’m not going to pretend that this is an easy read, in terms of events and topics that are somewhat sensitive and may make those of such a nature uncomfortable. I really could not put this book down. I’m still trying to put myself together enough to be able to make any kind of sense.

Throughout this entire story I was left on the edge of my seat. I hated the waiting and the anticipation had me going insane, however, it was ALL worth it. I cannot wait for the next book in the Amado Brothers series. Jesus, Natasha Knight has me at her mercy with her uncanny writing skill and her ability to tell such captivating and almost forbidden stories with such gusto and panache that’ll leave your head, heart and soul shaken up like a deliciously strong cocktail. Seriously, this series should come with a warning— BOOK HANGOVER GUARANTEED!

About the Book

Disgrace: the condition of one fallen from grace.
She is my forbidden fruit. The one temptation I cannot resist.
The first night…
I rescued her from an attack in the seedy underground of New York City.
The second night…
She told me the first of many lies.
She thinks she can keep me out of her world, but she’s in over her head. Watching her, being near her, it gives breath to something dark inside me. Something primal and forbidden. Forbidden to me.
Because in six months, I’ll be an ordained priest.
And she complicates things.
She thinks she is my disgrace. Truth is, my fall had begun the moment I’d laid eyes on her.
