A poignant and punchy contemporary romance that’ll leave you hot and breathless…

So here I go again, coming apart at the seems over one of the Wright brothers. I can’t even begin to express how much I loved The Wright Boss, how is it even possible to make these brothers even more addictive? I mean, Jensen was phenomenal and just… just drool worthy – Landon, he’s just a whole new level of wow. It’s so amazing how Kyla Linde manages to make these two hunks so similar – and yet so different! Landon is so much more laid-back, yet at the same time he’s got this ability to make you feel as though you’re completely surrounded. He has this boyish charm, and yet he’s 100% Alpha – if that makes sense? If not, all you need to know is that he’s freaking hot… like once is not enough – you’ll keep going back for more!

So, in The Wright Brother you meet both Landon and Heidi and although I instantly LOVED her, I had my reservations about him. I did go into this book with a bit of trepidation as to whether I could grow to love Landon or not, but within the first few pages I was hooked on him. Like, I was ready for panty ripping and wall-shagging to ensue. Even though that was on the brink of happening, it didn’t. However, one stolen kiss was enough to leave me wet and gagging for more. If you are someone that is sensitive about cheating, there may be some uncomfortable moments, however, saying that, Landon is separated – personally, I didn’t find that any lines were crossed and he DOES remain faithful in my book. But, I may also be being very biased as I just cannot freaking stand Miranda. I was ready to get my hands bloodied on her nose. I simply disdained her.

Plot wise, I actually feel that this book was better developed than it’s predecessor and in hindsight it almost makes The Wright Brother feel clunky – however, I still stand by my review. If you haven’t read The Wright Brother, I would advise you do so before reading The Wright Boss – not because the story is dependant on it, but because you get a much greater feel for Landon, Heidi and Miranda. I think if I had jumped right into The Wright Boss, I may have been a bit weary of where the story starts to go – but, knowing Landon and Miranda’s background and relationship just made me enjoy it even more! The amazing thing about K. A. Linda is that she has this striking ability to make your heart ache for her characters. Seriously, there were points in this book that she had me in torrential tears – ugly crying mode. I just wanted to cocoon both Heidi and Landon in my arms and never let them go. They have demons that are rooted so deep that even love isn’t really enough to exorcise them. That’s probably what I loved the most about this book. All too often you have characters that are damaged beyond repair one minute – and the next they’re miraculously free of them because love heals them. The beauty of this story is that it’s a combination of time, love for each other and above all love for themselves. Personally this made their story all the more endearing and empathise-able.

I feel like I need to reread The Wright Boss again… right now. I just couldn’t get enough of Landon and Heidi. They’re equally as addicting and charming. She’s feisty and sassy and at the same time soft and alluring – whereas, he is gentle and tender and yet he has this fire that heats you from the inside out and has your toes curling. He’s strong and confident without being obnoxious and twatish. I really need more of these two in my life! I know that the next book, The Wright Mistake, will be telling Austin Wright’s story. I feel that again this book perfectly put him closer to the forefront. Just enough to get my toes wet and earning to dive right in. I hope that we get to know Austin and Julia very soon because the little nips I’ve had, have only made me want to take bigger bites!

About the Book

A new stand alone office romance from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…

I’ve always had one rule:

Don’t mix business and pleasure.

But then Landon Wright comes home to his family’s construction company with a broken back and a beaten heart and ends up as my new sexy boss. As the office gets heated, I’m thinking about throwing the rulebook out the window.

If only there weren’t a million reasons this could never work.

We may have shared a single perfect kiss, but I can’t let our intense connection cloud my judgment. Not with everything I’ve worked for on the line.

Dating your boss is so very, very wrong…even if he feels so Wright.

The Series

I’d dated his brother.

He didn’t remember and I wish I could forget.

I may have sworn off the Wright family a long time ago. But when I returned home, Jensen Wright crashed into my life with the confidence of a billionaire CEO and the sex appeal of a god. Even I couldn’t resist our charged chemistry, or the way he fit into my life like a missing puzzle piece.

Too bad he’d forgotten the one thing that could destroy us.

Because Jensen Wright doesn’t share. Not with anyone. And if his brother finds out, this could all go down in flames.

When it all was said and done, was he the Wright brother?
