An excitingly gripping and enthralling love story that is quite simply out of this world!

I absolutely love Alta Hensley, I just love the way her short story development is on point and how her unabashed way of writing sex. Not only does she write explosive sex, but she does it in such a griping, sassy and intense way that it truly is one of those moments of utter voyeurism – where you shouldn’t look, but you can’t help it and it feels so so good.

So, anyhow, I’m not a massive lover of Sci-Fi – don’t get me wrong, love vampires… and even some werewolves, although that can get a bit hairy sometimes (see what I did there? Oh dear.) aliens, however, are not my thing and every single time that I get an alien read… it doesn’t go well. I just get really put off and eventually bored because I can’t get into it and the whole book is simply skimmed through because I can’t just simply give up and toss it. I’m a dick. I can’t help it. His Caged Kitty is Sci-Fi, set in a different planet after Earth’s demise… in all honesty I found myself slapping my cheeks in pure frustration that I hadn’t clocked it was alien Sci-Fi. However, the brilliant thing about this book is that although it is set in an alien planet with two moons and a sun that doesn’t burn, it is a human love story. Pheeeeeew… I was so happy, I almost did a jig! The story centres around Erik and Maya, both homo sapiens that have migrated to said alien planet. I found them pretty standard characters, the plot itself was very well thought out and cleverly executed – BUT, in true Alta Hensley format, the pièce de résistance of the book is the dark, taboo, dirty and highly erotic fire that – in all honesty – only Ms. Hensley can explore without making it all meaningless and without feeling. A heads up, the relationship between Erik and Maya borders on Domestic Discipline, and can come across a little brutal at times – so if you are of a sensitive disposition and find that you are easily offended by taboo lifestyles this may not be for you. Sorry, but you are missing out!

This is a VERY short story, and although at first I didn’t believe that I would enjoy it – I’m glad that I pushed through, because I absolutely loved it. Erik is dreamy and masterful in every sense of the word and Maya is just unforgettable. I thought that after the Bad, Bad Girl anthology Alta Hensley would have a hard time topping my my complete and utter enjoyment of her work – but His Caged Kitty was certainly nothing short of fabulously exciting and enthralling. I really don’t think there’s anything that Alta Hensley can produce that I won’t love!

His Caged Kitty is out now!

About the Book

Here kitty, kitty…

His voice.

His command.

I became weak.

Vegas became my Master the day he saved me and stole me away. I was his pet. His property.

A caged kitty so I would not run away.

In a dark and futuristic world, where civilization has to start over, I have no other options. I must submit to a new way of life.

But when the cage unlocks, would I truly be free of my captor? Or would something far greater keep me contained?

** His Caged Kitty is a novella that is very dark, very taboo, and very dirty. There is graphic sex, and strong BDSM elements. This is not for the faint of heart reader wanting champagne and roses. The only roses in this book are covered in thorns. But with dark comes light, and there will be a happily ever after.
