A hot, sensual and taboo romance…

As of late I’ve been reading more and more short stories. That’s just me, I love a quickie read and that is exactly what Private Reserve is. I read it from beginning to end in a single 2hr sitting. I know I shouldn’t, but for some reason that has just made me want to give myself a tap on the back! I’m easy to please… sue me. So anyway, This was such an easy read and it had such a wonderful pace that I really couldn’t put it down. The story was well developed considering how short it is and it wasn’t so far-fetched that you feel like – meh!

I really liked all the characters, even if they aren’t as meaty as those you get to know in a novel length book. However, Fox gives you insight into both Gio and Olivia’s, and Gio and Luca’s past history. I feel like I have to mention this, even though it wasn’t something that bothered me, this story does have male/male, male/female and male/female/male sex. I didn’t find it so graphic that it was awkward even if male/male, or menage sex isn’t normally something I go out of my way to read. In all honesty it was all very eloquently explored in a way that was actually REALLY HOT and SENSUAL.

Where I didn’t find the storyline unrealistic, I have to be honest and mention that aspects of the dialogue were a little weak and lacked the impact of the story it was portraying. Saying that, it didn’t diminish my enjoyment of the book – it just made it a little corny at times. Almost like porno corny.

All in all, Private Reserve was an enjoyable book. I don’t know whether I would read it again, but if you are someone that enjoys quick, to-the-point reads I would wholeheartedly recommend it. Although, I don’t think that I’d read Private Reserve again, I would like to read the rest of her Dossier series.

About the Book

Olivia was the best thing that ever happened to me. But she’s a good girl, and I have a side that is far too dark for a minister’s daughter. When she started talking about plans after graduation, the only thing I could do was run back to Italy—to protect her from me. But she’s back in my life, and I need a wife before I can take full ownership of our failing vineyard and hotel. Only problem is, I want her again. No way can I put my hands on her. One kiss, one taste, could unleash the side of me that would only scare her.

If she discovers my dark side, I don’t know if she’ll flee back to the states, or surrender to me. What she doesn’t know is she already owns me, and if she leaves, I’ll never be the same.
